梁育民教授
傳統的鉀離子通道阻斷藥物的機轉主要為堵塞通道外孔。梁育民教授於過去數年已發表了數篇文章證明有某些新穎的藥物可透過別的途徑抑制鉀離子通道，鉀離子通道在打開後會呈現選擇性過濾器不穩定化(C-型鈍化)的情形。而梁教授發現這些新的藥物可加劇C-型鈍化而達到抑制通道的效果。這些新的成果將發表於高影響因子的綜述期刊 Pharmacology and Therapeutics (IF=8.69; in press)。

簡惠玲助理教授
早期的臉孔知覺能力是未來認知發展與社會發展的重要磐石。簡惠玲老師在過去幾年所累積的研究看到了嬰兒的臉孔辨識是個快速的學習過程，而且此臉孔知覺發展與專化歷程並非全然的先天或是後天，而較支持基因與環境互動的「經驗--期待」論；藉由充分理解臉孔辨識歷程在嬰兒時期的正常發展軌跡與行為型態，能幫助我們偵測發展異常的嬰兒(如自閉症症候群)。這些研究成果已發表於Vision Research、Journal of Vision, Developmental Science, Spatial Vision和Chinese Journal of Psychology。
